For her Fall/Winter 2017-18 collection, Olympia Le Tan chose to explore the “roman noir” world. On her now famous minaudières, she reproduces the covers of Alfred Hitchcock, Gaston Leroux or Dashiell Hammett novels. The Olympia Le Tan bags are also adorned with scary keywords and formulas: "Femme Fatale", "Psycho" or "I confess".

Olympia Le Tan launched her eponymous brand in 2009. Passionate about literature and fashion, she combined her two interests in her creations with minaudières inspired by more or less known book covers. A few seasons after founding her label, the luxury bag designer expanded her business with other handbag designs as well as a small ready-to-wear line. Her specificity? She adapts to accessories, not the other way around as other brands.
After living between Paris and London, where her mother is from, Olympia Le Tan joined Chanel when she was 19 to work at the studio with Karl Lagerfeld. She stayed there for ten years. Daughter of the illustrator Pierre Le Tan, the future fashion designer then travelled the world from Tokyo to New York working as a DJ, before founding her label in 2009.
